The reason i left Star Wars Galaxies back in february was the poor implementation of PVP and the Galactic war. Due to much arm twisting, my brother talked me into re-opening my accounts last month. Since then, i’ve been pretty much just trying to rebuild from my total loss of houses and items inside (including a full suit of Storm Trooper armor).
This past evening, I ended up heading to Lok to “rescue” my brother who had been stood up by a mayor of a city that was going to grant him building rights. We ended up running a few missions and found ourself at a huge imperial player city. Now myself and my brother are both covert imperials. We are running thru the city to find a garage to repair our speederbikes when we notice 3 overt/declared rebels running past us. I immediately begin to question there motives as this is an imperial city. After they left our site, we informed one of the locals that we had seen rebel sympathizers running thru the city and they ended up calling reinforcements.

Now, I was planning on staying out of it for 2 reasons. 1. I was a covert member and didnt want to blow my cover. 2. It was not my fight. Unfortunately, my brother didnt see it the same way. In Galaxies, when you heal an overt member while covert you get whats called a TEF or temporary enemy flag. He is practicing to become a combat medic so he sees a great opportunity to get some free experience. What he doesnt realize is that by doing so, he just TEF’d himself. All of a sudden I get a message that he had been incapp’d. I immediately seek him out and heal him which, of course, TEF’d myself. Being an almost master bounty hunter, i’m pretty much invincible when i’m fully doctor buffed and have some brandy in me. So I immediately went after the rebel that incap’d my bro. Needless to say, it was the funnest fight I have ever had in Galaxies ever. The PvP system is definately more viable now and I look forward to when I can start hunting Jedi who dont know how to keep themself under the radar.
